Subjects are organized into Elementary and Secondary. Elementary covers Dance, Drama, Music, Visual Arts, French, Language, Health, Physical Education, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Social Studies, History, Geography, and Native Languages. Secondary includes arts, business, languages, sciences, social sciences, tech pathways, and more (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, English, French, and many others). Each subject has three sub-sections: Pro Course, Guided Academy, and Sanctuary.

Department Heads assign any subject to Teachers, Vice Principals, and Principals. Those roles only see and manage authorized subjects (restricted view). Department Heads retain full subject access for school operations and curriculum.

Schools subscribe for student and staff seats on Elementary, Secondary, or K–12 plans, with Principal, Vice Principal, Department Head, and Teacher roles. Families subscribe independently for a household curriculum starting with Sanctuary; Plus and Unlimited unlock more subjects and Pro/Guided Academy tracks. Pro Course is the Curriculum pathway with one module per grade from Grade 1 through Grade 12, plus a Post Secondary readiness module — structured lessons, assessments, and skill progressions.

Guided Academy focuses on projects, portfolios, and expressive application of subject skills.

Sanctuary is a self-paced pathway for big ideas, reflection, and conceptual understanding — the “why” behind the learning, with materials families can use independently.

Open Upload, or go to a subject track → Upload work. Choose the assignment, attach a file (PDF, DOC, images, or ZIP up to 15 MB), and submit. Track status under My Work.

Open Online Tests, filter by subject if needed, then Start test. Answer every question and submit to see your score.

Linked parents can view dashboards, progress by subject, completed work, test scores, and recordings. They can also manage Sanctuary for their student — confirm module tasks and upload work. Pro Course and Guided Academy remain read-only (no formal tests or course uploads).

Demo accounts are pre-linked (parent@workitin.local → student@workitin.local). In production, your coordinator links guardian and student accounts securely.

Staff (Teacher, Department Head, Vice Principal, Principal) and Students can post announcements. Parents and guests can read them. Staff can remove any post; students can remove their own.
